These hunts are
very successful for excellent bucks at a reasonable
price. The property is BOWHUNTING-ONLY.
Trophy Quality
These hunts are some of the best archery
antelope hunts available anywhere. Bucks generally range
from a whopping 70 to 84 inches and the shooting
percentage is usually 100% on P&Y bucks with success
rates near 100% depending on the shooter!
Hunting Area
Our outfitter leases
20,000 acres of some of the best antelope habitat in
the West. The property is BOWHUNTING
ONLY and is never rifle hunted. The
hunting area is in eastern Montana northeast of Billings.
The country is classic, open-range antelope country
and there are plentiful animals including many huge
bucks.
About Our Outfitter
Our outfitter has been in the outfitting
business in Montana since 1960, specializing in elk,
deer, antelope and black bear hunts. He has been outfitting
in the same area for 47 years. Our outfitter also has
excellent archery
elk hunting (click for link) on 70,000 acres of
private land in southwest Montana north of Bozeman.
Licenses
The application deadline is June 1 but
archery licenses are guaranteed and unlimited.
The 2007 license fee was $235.
Bowhunting Method
Hunting is conducted from permanent blinds,
portable blinds, or windmill stands placed over water
holes. This is the most productive method of bowhunting
antelope.
Food and Accommodations
All food and accommodations are included
in the hunt price. You will stay at a ranch house located
on the ranch and be fed home-cooked meals.
Hunt Dates and Duration - 4 full days
You would arrive the day before your first
hunt day and leave the day after your last day.

Wyoming Trophy Archery Antelope Hunts
If you are looking
for a Pope & Young or possibly a Boone & Crockett
antelope, this is the hunt for you. Every buck
shot in 2006 ranged from 75 to a whopping 84 inches
and hunters were 100% successful. The unit is rated
as the best trophy unit in Wyoming.

from 75 to 85 inches and the success rates is
near 100%!

150,000 acres of some of the antelope habitat in the
West.The hunting area is in south central Wyoming
east of the town of Baggs. The country is classic,
open-range antelope country and there are plentiful
animals including many huge bucks.
About Our Outfitter
These hunts are conducted by our Wyoming
trophy mule deer outfitter. Our outfitter has lived
in the area all his life and guides on his family ranch
and adjoining ranches. He is a serious bowhunter himself
and knows what it takes to be succesful with stick &
string. The hunt can also be combined with a Wyoming
trophy mule deer hunt.
Licenses
The application deadline is March 15 and
applicants have about a 60% chance of drawing with no
preference points and a higher percentage with point(s).
Bowhunting Method
Hunting is conducted from permanent blinds,
portable blinds, or windmill stands placed over water
holes. This is the most productive method of bowhunting
antelope. Stalking is also available and adds some additional
excitement to the hunt.
Food and Accommodations
All food and accommodations are included
in the hunt price. You will stay at a very nice lodge
and cabins. There is also excellent trout stream fishing
right outside the lodge.

Gillette Wyoming Antelope Hunt $1900
(food and motel extra)
We have a new excellent
Wyoming antelope outfitter. The hunting area is near
Gillette in unit 23. My outfitter leases about 16-18,000
acres of private exclusive land. Hunting is from
portable blinds over waterholes. This area has an
incredible population of antelope and you should see
from 30-100 antelope come to water each day. The
success rate has been 100% for several years and you
should get multiple shots. The success rate for Pope &
Young bucks has been 85-90% with bucks generally
averaging 70-74 inches.
Licenses are
undersubscribed in the area and you should have no
problem drawing a tag (March 15 deadline). There are
usually even leftover tags after the initial drawing.
You can also shoot an additional doe for no extra charge
(except the license). The season begins Sept. 1 and the
price of the 4 day hunt is $1900. Food and motel are
extra and you would stay in Gillette and the hunting
area is just south of there. The outfitter is a serious
bowhunter himself.
Hunting antelope over water
is awesome with lots of action for those who haven't
done it! Also an excellent chance to shoot a P&Y animal.

South Central Montana Antelope Hunt $2000 (motel
and lunch included)
Our outfitter leases approximately 40,000 acres of
private land for antelope hunting east of the Crow
Indian Reservation near the towns of Kerby & Decker,
Montana. The area is in 704 district. Archery licenses
are guaranteed and cost approximately $202. Hunting is
from blinds over waterholes and the success rate is
nearly 100%. Mature bucks are generally in the
70-75-inch range. Motel and lunch are included in the
hunt price but breakfast and dinner are not. The hunt
is 4 full days for $2000.

Eastern Montana
Trophy Antelope Hunt $2000 (food and
lodging included)
Our outfitter leases about 200,000 acres in eastern
Montana with monster bucks. Bucks generally range from
70-82 inches. The hunting area is in units 500 &
700 which are north of Billings. The hunt is 3-days for
$2000 and the success rate is nearly 100%. This is
normally plenty of time to bag your buck but additional
days can be added if necessary for $500/day. Archery
season runs from Sept. 1-Oct. 12. Archery licenses are
guaranteed and cost approximately $202.
This hunt can be combined with a mule deer/whitetail
hunt for $4000 total. There are some excellent deer in
the area with mule deer bucks generally ranging from
160-190 and whitetails ranging from 140-170.
