Pronghorn antelope can be one of the most enjoyable
bowhunting experiences you will ever have. If you haven't
pursued this speedsters with bow and arrow before, you're
missing out!
Do-It-Yourself Eastern Colorado Antelope Hunt
We offer do-it-yourself archery antelope hunts on thousands of acres of privately leased ground in eastern Colorado. On our archery hunts we provide each hunter with a well constructed blind in easy bow range of waterholes on leased private ranches. You can also bring your own "pop-up" blind to set up on other waterholes. We also have areas set aside for those who want to stalk. Several P&Y bucks have been taken on these hunts. Success rates usually run around 50-60% with 80-90% opportunity.
Archery antelope licenses are available over the counter so there is no drawing. The 2010 license fee is $329.
The hunting season runs from Aug. 15-Sept. 15.
A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to book your hunt.
Hunting Area
Our outfitter leases
20,000 acres of some of the best antelope habitat in
the West. The property is BOWHUNTING
ONLY and is never rifle hunted. The
hunting area is in eastern Montana northeast of Billings.
The country is classic, open-range antelope country
and there are plentiful animals including many huge
bucks.

About Our Outfitter
Our outfitter has been in the outfitting
business in Montana since 1960, specializing in elk,
deer, antelope and black bear hunts. He has been outfitting
in the same area for 47 years. Our outfitter also has
excellent archery
elk hunting (click for link) on 70,000 acres of
private land in southwest Montana north of Bozeman.

Licenses
The application deadline is June 1 but
archery licenses are guaranteed and unlimited.
The 2007 license fee was $235. Hunter is responsible for the license fee.
Bowhunting Method
Hunting is conducted from permanent blinds,
portable blinds, or windmill stands placed over water
holes. This is the most productive method of bowhunting
antelope.
Food and Accommodations
All food and accommodations are included
in the hunt price. You will stay at a ranch house located
on the ranch and be fed home-cooked meals.
Hunt Dates and Duration - 4 full days
You would arrive the day before your first
hunt day and leave the day after your last day.

Half Price Youth Hunts - the outfitter
offers an incredible 1/2 price hunt for all youths hunting
with an adult. Youths must be under 16 at the beginning of their hunt. Take a kid hunting today!
The price includes free airport pickup
at the Billings airport so you don't need to rent a
car.
Also included: This hunt also includes full meat processing and freezing on the first animal for no extra charge. Your animal will be packaged and frozen before your departure.

Gillette Wyoming Antelope Hunt $1900

We have a new excellent
Wyoming antelope outfitter. The hunting area is near
Gillette in unit 23. My outfitter leases about 16-18,000
acres of private BOWHUNTING
ONLYexclusive land. Hunting is from
portable blinds over waterholes.
Trophy Quality and Success Rate
This area has an
incredible population of antelope and you should see
from 30-100 antelope come to water each day. The
success rate has been 100% for several years and you
should get multiple shots. The success rate for Pope &
Young bucks has been 85-90% with bucks generally
averaging 70-74 inches.
Licenses
Licenses are
undersubscribed in the area and you should have no
problem drawing a tag (March 15 deadline). There are
usually even leftover tags after the initial drawing.
You can also shoot an additional doe for no extra charge
(except the license).
Hunt Price - $1900 for 4 days (food and lodging extra)
The season begins Aug. 15 and the
price of the 4 day hunt is $1900. Food and motel are
extra and you would stay in Gillette and the hunting
area is just south of there. The outfitter is a serious
bowhunter himself.
